Frank Prendergast

Frank has worked with a number of Cork companies including Corcadorca
(‘Love’), Meridian (‘The White Lady’) and Graffiti (‘Is Iomái Slí’, ‘An
Páiste Caillte’). As the titles suggest, both of the Graffiti theatre in
education shows were performed in the Irish language.

Frank appeared in the Granary Theatre previously playing Lucio in Tony
McCleane-Faye’s production of Frank McGuinness’s ‘Innocence’, as well as
having been involved in several of the rehearsed readings which take
place in the Granary Studio.

He has worked on several occasions with Skylight Productions, playing
Juror No.5 in ‘Twelve Angry Men’, Rosencrantz in ‘Hamlet’ and Jonathon
Harker in ‘Dracula’.

Last year Frank played John Worthing in ‘The Importance of Being
Earnest’ with Chattyboo Productions, and toured with Galloglass Theatre
Company’s production of Gina Moxley’s ‘Danti Dan’, playing Noel.

 

Roisin O Donovan

Róisín has just completed her second year of UCC’s Drama and Theatre Studies, during these years she has focused on developing her acting skills in DTS productions such as: ‘Machinal’ and ‘I’m an Actor, Give me a Break’.

 

She is also an active member of UCC’s Drama Society in which she has discovered an interest in lighting design. While living in Dublin Róisín attended The Gaiety School of Acting and is a former member of Dublin Youth Theatre in which she took part in a variety of diverse productions and workshops both at home and abroad.

 

More recently Róisín worked on the Southernman Films short: ‘The Sign’ and looks forward to furthering her on-screen work. She has recently been accepted to an exchange programme to New York, which will allow her to further her acting training.

 

Paula McGlinchy

Paula studied Contemporary dance at the London Studio Centre and Drama in South Africa at Durban University. She worked in Community Theatre in African Townships and was the Artistic Director of the International Chimanimani Arts Festival.

Theatre credits in Ireland include; The Merchant of Venice and Romeo and Juliet (Half Moon Theatre – a touring production.)  King Lear (Half Moon and The Helix – Dublin) The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (The Cork Opera House) Fireface and Psychosis (Granary) Reds Under the Beds and A Spagetti Western (The Cat Club for the Cork Arts Festival).

Paula is co-founder of the Metamorphic Theatre Co. and is a member of Cyclone Theatre Co.

 

Cormac Costello

Cormac trained at the Gaiety School of Acting.

Cormac has just finished a run of Aesop’s Fabulous Foibles and Fables for the Midsummer Festival 2008. This is his second time working in the Granary Theatre after last year’s Meat (Asylum).
